Does anyone know if a US model CRV LX 4WD automatic will have a Grade Logic
System (GLS) built in? I know the Civics and Accords do/did that I have had.
I used to get manual transmissions back in the days when I was a lot
younger, but now pushing 40 I am getting lazy and like the automatics
better, but I still like the engine braking control of GLS.

    Thanks,
    Al

definitely it has it. 2002-2005 all have them. I believe even the previous
    gen. had it.

    It works quite nicely too.

Okay thanks very much, I like it on my civic and I am sure it will be good
    on a CRV also.

I'll second that, works great in our 04 ody and 04 cr-v. My first car with
it, '98 accord, felt funny at first, but then I came to expect it (and
    appreciate it).

And the LX has VSA also!

Actually the LX 4WD has grade logic, 4 wheel disc brakes, EBD, ABS, VSA and
front, side and head curtain airbags. EX only adds the CD changer, sunroof,
alloys, and a temp gauge plus a few other things like tinted glass etc.
That's what I like about the LX 4WD, I can get all the safety things that
would normally be on an upscale car/suv but on the lower model.
