The headlights on my civic are turning yellow (both sides), and I think I am
loosing visibility due to the same.
Is it possible to buy the clear plastic cover for the headlights? or I need
    to replace the whole unit?
If so, where can I get some aftermarket?

Get yourself some of the stuff the use to clean windshields
on motorcycles. Then keep the covers polished with a polymer
    like NuFinish, WBMA.

You didn't specify what year your car is, but
    http://www.hondaautobodypartstore.com sells headlights for several
generations of Civic. These are not original Honda equipment, and I
don't know how good they are. Factor parts can be had from
    http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com.
