Anyone else have this problem? Bought a used 2001 model with about
42,000 miles on it. Did not hit the right kind of bumps when i test
drove it to initially hear this noise. When I hit small divets and
bumps in the road, it sounds like my struts are knocking against the
bottom side if the car. This is especially noticeable when i am
accelerating up an incline and i hit small bumps. Sounds like something
in the axle is loose. When I first brought it back, they did told me
that the 2001 models all had bad struts so they changed those. The noise
was still there after that. I brought it back again and they told me
there is nothing wrong with the car and that is the sound the newer ones
make because they are making cars lighter. Is that correct?
    Thanks, John D.

    bullshit.
they need to remove the struts and grind the welds down on the
body. it's a very well documented thing.
