help please

    i have a import 1993 prelude 2.2si,non vtec and cant get a timing belt
    to fit.All belts offered up have one tooth to many. The one that came
    off it has 126 teeth but cant get a match anywhere.Please help does
    anyone know where i can get the right belt from or why im having so
    much trouble obtaining one

    The number of teeth on the belt does not necessarily mean its the wrong
    belt.

    Even if the belt IS longer than the old one, as long as the "slack" is taken
    off opposite the "pull side", timing will not be affected.

    You might want to check to see if there's been a factory ordered spec change
    before discounting it.
