Just wodering if major problem could happen to my car if
a wrong size of rims was install on my car. A dealer sold
me four rims and after a year later I found out from 3 garage
told me is the wrong size of rims of had on. It too small.
Since this happen the shock on my car was broken I wonder this
might have cause the problem. Now my car it not driving as
smooth as should be. Dealer is denying there sold me the wrong size.
    Thank for your help.

no, it would not cause you to loose a shock, if anything it would cause the
car to be smoother over bumps as there is more sidewall to absorp the
    impacts

not sure how you assume that by them installing a `smaller` rim, it would
cause there to be a smaller sidewall.....since you don't know the tire size
he has installed vs. stock. for all you know they could have put low
profile tires on it. But as m.c. tee said, it would not cause a shock to go
bad, it may ride rougher/smoother depending on the sidewall on the tires,
but beyond that it would do nothing.

true, i assumed they put a tire on that matches the factory height, say
    185/60/14 to a 175/70/13
