honda accoord 1992 has code 43

Discussion in 'General Motoring' started by DANIEL ELLIOTT, Mar 18, 2005.

  1. My 1992 honda accord recently posted a code 43. Five months ago I changed my
oxygen for a bosch sensor because I was getting poor gas mileage. The sensor
made no difference on fuel economy or poor idle. If any one could help me
    out id appreciate it. Thanks

i am not a mechanic by any stretch of the imagination. i just a factory
shop manual for all my vehicles and they are about 200 each.

i am assuming that poor idle could mean rough idle ?

if code 43 only and the check ingine light is on with rough idle, according
to my shop service manual, the problem is not your oxygen sensor but
    1) fule injector
    2) injector resistor
    3) contaminated fuel

What's the mileage, what have you done to remedy the troubles, and what
are the exact symptoms? Warm and cold?
