    Hi Tom,

I have the same noise that applies under the same conditions. I went to
the dealer twice with no real answer. Several months later a friend of
mine told me that his dealer identified the noise (and vibration) as being
the ABS resetting themselves. I'm not convinced, but we both have the same
car (bought months apart) and have the same quirky noise and feeling. Does
    anyone else experience this?

I just bought an Accord EX V6 2 weeks ago and I have the same situation.
I'm not sure what to do because the noise/vibe come and goes. It doesn't
always happen, but it usually happens when you first start the car during
    the day.

I'm about to take it to the dealer, but I'm expecting them to deny any
problem. Did any of you get any response from Honda dealers?

I was in the dealer a week ago, I mentioned the problem and the service
rep, mentioned that they will look at it. I don't remember the exact word.
They said something like... Others reported similar problem.

I did not like the wait time so I left. I will have them look at it on the
    next visit. another 1K miles.

BTW, it does not happen all the time. I think it has to be a "cold" start.
When it is hot outside, I don't feel the vibration on "cold" start.

I have an '03 V6 Accord with 23,500 miles and I feel the same minor
vibration going from 1st to 2nd.

'03? Did you have your car serviced with the transmission recall and still
have the vibration from 1st to 2nd?
