POWER tilt-and-telescopic? Altimas DON'T have it.

Try 245 hp for the 2004 and 250 when the 2005 is released.

And there is no way a '98 Alitma has any of these features. When you
compare things try to compare things of the same generation to start off
    with.
Same thing here, should we use a '98 Altima as a comparisn factor??? I'm
sure a '98 Altima can pull up to a '98 GS and feel proud.
I thought we were talking about interiors.... and the 260ph doesn't make a
car good. But I didn't expect you to know that.... you're probably a guy
who gets all excited by big numbers.
You don't make sense.... how does a person trade in a GS300, look and
compare a Altima and buy a Z4..... those two cars don't have the same
dynamics. Any ways I give up on your sorry ass.... I'm done with your
    ignorance!!!

By the way, if you think the GS is 25K over price then the Altima, you must
think a Ferrari is a 100K over priced 350Z, right? Go troll some over
    newgroups.

  3. Mike, leave him alone... no point in dealing with him.... doesn't seem to
know very much, and likes cheap-ass copycats (at best, if 3 dial dash means
    look-alike).

He probably has a Daewoo in his driveway any ways.

  4. How much longer until you're old enough to get a licence?
You can't even spell license..... oh wait, that's cause you're a Cuntadian.

How to turn off 'Maintenance Required" light:

    1. Hold trip/reset button on dash
    2. Turn key to "ON" or start engine
    3. Hold button til light goes out

  5. POWER tilt-and-telescopic? Altimas DON'T have it.
What part of "it has it" do you not comprehend.
It still won't do 5.95 sec (0-60) like the Altima can.

  6. And there is no way a '98 Alitma has any of these features. When you
Did your '98 GS have a compass? NO. You're the one bragging about your '98 GS,
and since your '98 GS did not have the features you mentioned, you do not have
    any experience with them.
Your '98 GS did not have e-shift..... so what's the point of bragging about it
if you never got to use it because your '98 GS did not have it.

Can the GS3 do 5.95 sec (0-60mph)? Case closed.

You stupid fool, when did I say I was looking at the Altima. Reading is
    elementary but comprehension is essential.
WTF are you talking about? Try and make sense once in awhile.

the rust problem has been addressed by mazda, so if you are buying a new
vehicle you dont have to worry about that, just the early models had that
issue in some parts of canada!
I have driven both the Mazda 6 auto and the Accord V6 auto, and the shifting
of the mazda auto gearbox is much better than the accord, very smooth and
precise, although both were excellent, i didnt end up buying either of them
but if i were to go with an auto i would definatly take the mazda 6..
however if i wanted a standard i would have taken the accord coupe v6 6spd,
    best drive by far!!

My point is not that either car has bad reliability, you will find most
domestic vehicles to have 100TSB's by the end of their first year of
production, and the focus has about 10 recalls after the first year, now
that is an indicator of a poorly built vehicle.. both the mazda and the
    honda are great
cars and should serve anyone who owns them wellbut any new model is going to
go through some recalls, having less of course shows just how much attention
to detail and testing the company has put into their product.

  10. Hey Jon,

That's good research and I never claimed the Mazda 6 un-reliable. What I
did mean is that IMO Honda has a better track record for reliability. I'm
sure the 6 is a good and it has to be in order to compete.

But you point is taken, and what you say is true!

Read the specs, idiot. Altima has a MANUAL tilt and telescope
    steering wheel.
Which has nothing to do with the fact that your quoted HP figures are
    wrong.

Cool that means my '03 Accord is better then the GS too, I mean it does have
    a better 0-60 then the Altima :eek:P

BTW, you pick up that Z4 yet? Cuz it only has 225 HP.... the Altima has
    260!!!

  14. Hmmm, Mazda claims it's not corrosion but a stain from a "saline-esque
corrosive". Geez - sounds like weasel words to me.

there is a ten page repair procedure for the "rust stain" repair .... none
of which involves sanding or painting ... so .. it obviously is not a paint
problem ....... remember when metallic brake pads first came out ....
people with light colored cars... especially white ... were complaining
about the rust spots on the front fenders and doors ...??? .... maybe you do
not...... I certainly do ..... big bubbles.... small troubles....

    It's a wardrobe malfunction.
