Honda Care Extended Warranty Question

Hello:

Will be taking everyone's advice, and probably sign up for the Honda-Care
extended warranty for my new 2004 Accord 6 cyl.

Really surprised at the difference in price between what a local dealership
here in Mass where I bought the car, and an internet provider of Honda Care
(Curry Automotive) who is also,
apparently, a licensed Mass. Honda Dealer.
"Seems" tro be valid, as it's underwritten by Honda Finacial in Calif.

The dealership wants $ 1,400, while Curry is arout $ 950.
Quite a difference. For the 950, it seems it's worth getting.

Any idea why might be ?

Any difference when buying this thru the internet source ? Caveats ?

Useable at any dealership once purchased ?

Not to be too cynical, it's probably just profit motive. Hugh profit for
your dealer.

I took the figure I got elsewhere and told my dealer about it and he dropped
his price right then and there so I bought it from him.

You get an 800 number to call if you have problems on the road.
