Wandering if anyone else has had this problem, when I push in my
clutch it squeaks, but not all the time. I was thinking maybe it just
needs lubricating or a sign of a bigger problem like the clutch cable
    or linkage.

It's the master cylinder that's squeaking, try lubing the push rod.

Your owner's manual tells you there's no clutch cable, since it tells
you how to top up the reservoir. It could be the pedal pivot or the
throwout bearing squeeking against the fork.
If you hear it more with the windows open its probably the latter. The
cure can be found if you search at www.hondasuv.com

    Star 2 for trouble.

Just had this one fixed. Honda service bulletin says to repace the master
cylinder, mechanic tells me it is the clutch pedal bracket, still squeaked
after the new bracket, my first repair was warranted and the boss decided to
replace the master cylinder like per Honda in order to quiet me (I was being
difficult). Very smooth now. My Civic is a 2003 and has 35,000 miles. Seems
to be a short life for a clutch master cylinder, IMHO. The clutch master
cylinder was still strong in my 1992 Audi 80 Quattro at 130,000 miles when I
sold it. The foam rubber in the vents and driver's seat rotted and left
black dust everywhere. Thought the frame of the seat was going to slide up
    my old dupah!
