Honda Civic...Power steering fluid problems

Discussion in 'Civic' started by navin.farswal, Mar 18, 2008.

  1. Hi
I own a Honda Civic Y2K model. Yesterday evening, I messed up with
power steering fluid. In fact, by error(i don't know where was my mind
at that time), I put some 300ml of coolant in the power steering fluid
reservoir. I realized this just after I put my car back in my parking
lot. Yesterday night I had nightmares about my car breaking down.

    - Is there any simplest way of draining the power steering fluid? How
    can I go about it?
    - Is there any danger in driving the car for couple of kilometers?
    - how much quantity of power steering liquid normally flows in the
    circuit?

Could anyone please help me out in sorting out this issue. thanks a
    lot in advance.
