i have a 97 civic auto. the revs has just started to idle, its not that bad
the revs drops down as if the car wants to stall and sometimes revs jump up
above the 1 mark.when i am in traffic the revs still seem to idle wheather
i am in drive or or not.

  2. Thanks for the update on your car. Did you have a question at all?

Try changing your spark plugs, distributor cap, and wires....sometimes
bad plugs cause the car to stall in idle...or have an irregular idle.
It happened with my 95 civic. Replaced these parts, never had trouble
    again.
