    I just listed 2 on autotrader.com. 93 Si green 95500 miles $4250. 94 VTEC
red 103500 miles $6250. Located in S. Indiana.
They are fun cars to drive and cheap/easy to maintain. They are extremely
stable in bad road conditions and handle well in good conditions because
they are low to the ground and have a stout profile (short/wide). The green
is a real head-turner. Probably the VTEC is a little too fast for a
teenager, unless they are responsible. I let my eldest drive the VTEC, but
not the younger. Good Luck in your search.

I just finished an excellent book that I purchased from Barnes and Noble.
The book is "Honda and Acura Performance Handbook" by Mike Ancas.
Mike has lots of great things to say about the Del Sol that has the VTEC
engine. He says it's a great car. The only thing that I don't like about
it is that it's a very small car and If your daughter goes to college or
is in college--she might not have enough room to transport all of her
stuff to and from college. However, it is a great car.

if your kid's in college, a Civic SI hatch is prob. better
    considering the extra room.
