Well being a Canadian and having yourself called an American is the
lowest form of insult one can receive. It is after all, something lower
than shark crap in the oceans. :^)

 

Unless the page is frequented by zealots. In that case your editing efforts
are futile, as anything you type will be quickly reverted back to what the
zealot wants to see. Some of those zealots seem never to sleep or eat or
have a regular job.

Too many of the pages with emotionally-charged content (the ones having to
do with climate change are a prime example) are definitely in the control
of zealots.
