If any of you out there have honda motorcyles, please could you help me!!! I
have a NSR 125cc 2001 model. I m in the process of removing the swingarm,
and have stumbled into a problem. There seems to be a strange looking nut. I
believe it to be a castle nut. However I can't get the tool to unlock the
nut!!! If any of you know where I can get one other than Honda that would be
    geat. Thanx

Castle nuts typically use a cotter pin through a hole in the bolt. Is
yours different? If it is a cotter pin, a neat trick is to take a
pair of diagonal cutters and cut the bent end of the pin off
completly, then use the cutters to pull out the remaining pin. Do
this by grabbing the pin in the cutter jaws as close to the bolt as
possible, but don't cut the pin. Just cut into the pin enough to get
a good grip, then lever the jaws against the bolt so as to lift the
pin out of the hole just a little. Do this in increments, grabbing
and levering each time, and creep the pin out of the hole. Very
effective for removing mangled and rusty pins.
