What do you think of the new Honda Civic '03. I test drove a CIVIC
LX, I didn't get a good vibe. The horsepower for the vehicle was so
so and the front panel looked kinda ugly. I should say overall i
didn't like the interior. But the price was decent and honda's have a
reputation for being highly reliable(I have towed my current car for
the 5th time, so reliability is a big deal). I am looking to buy one.
give me all the opinion you can about the vehicle and whether it is
    worth the money.

If you don't like it, DON'T BUY IT! There are other reliable cars that don't
look like lunch boxes. Corolla for example.

In the final analysis, no one but you can say if it's worth the money
because only you know how much you value a dollar. That said, you
already know that the car is priced competitively with the
competition, and it does have a good reliability record.
On the other hand, an '03 Civic is what the dealer has given me while
my Accord has been in for repair. I couldn't wait to get out of that
Civic. It just didn't feel safe to me -- underpowered for my tastes
and swerving a little in relatively light cross winds. It was NO fun
to drive. If almost all your driving is short trips around the
neighborhood, you might consider it more than you would if you
frequently drive at higher speeds or greater distances.

Of course the guys in this NG will tell you the Civic is the best
one to buy but I would test drive and get a total 'drive home'
price and finance cost on a Civic, a toyota Corolla and
a Ford Focus. Then decide, if it were me. They are all
recognized as good vehicles and it really comes down to style and
price, your particular needs and budget.

The Ford Feces is a popular vehicle but if reliability is important to you I'd
stick with a Civic or a Corolla. They are modest in terms of appointments and
performance but their dependability is unassailable. I owned a Civic LX sedan
for 5 years before buying a new Accord and I am being totally honest when I
say I put 70,000+ miles on that vehicle with only regularly scheduled
maintenance. Never once did it break down or did something break on it.

Ford's heart is in their money-making trucks and SUV's. Honda, Toyota and
Nissan have taken economy/family passenger sedan building to an art.

All my life, I always wanted to be somebody.
Now I see that I should have been more specific.
