    i have a 2000 honda accord coupe

the guy at walmart told me i have to change the entire blade if i
havent done it before because the factory blades i have wont let me
just do the rubber insert refill. is this true? maybe it is because im
having a hard time taking the rubber inserts off my blades, but im
having an even harder time taking the entire blade off.

can anyone give me good detailed instructions on how to remove the
entire blade and replace it with the new one?

or can anyone tell me if i can just replace the rubber inserts on my
    current factory blades?

i tried removing the entire blade already, but it looks like i need
some kinda of tool to loosen the bolts on the arm. im clueless....

  2. It's real simple, and if you go to your dealer they'll probably print
    the instructions for you.

The cheapest/easiest thing to do is go to the dealer and buy the inserts
there. (You might even ask how much they'd charge to install them; it
    might not be so much.)

forget about changing out the entire blades.....I picked up the rubber
refills @ Honda dealer for about $8 for the pair. They're exact
replacement filler units, so when replacing them, make sure to hang on
to the silver-colored metal strips from the used blades and use them
    with the refills.
Also, mine is 2000 Accord sedan, and each wiper is different
length.......not sure if this is true of the coupe, but I'd be
surprised if they were the same.
All this was easier than taking the entire blade assembly off......the
old ones just slipped out (after giving the one end a slight sqweeze)
without taking the unit off the arm.
    Good luck.
