How Long Will It Last?

My daughter has a 1998 Acura 3.0 CL - essentially the same as a 2 door
Accord with a 3 liter engine.

It has 141,000 miles and runs well.

She has changed the oil on schedule. When the timing belt was replaced,
they also changed the alternator, water pump and the other belts.

How many miles have other people put on similar Hondas before they gave out?

    Thanks

Just turned 222,222 miles on my '92 Accord 2dr 5spd. Got back last
night from a trip to Oshkosh WI, and averaged 36.6 mpg. Put a clutch in
it last year, and a recent timing belt and water pump.
I added up all the parts and labor I have in this car since new, and
the total was $5700. (U.S) bob

I have a 98 civic w/125K miles, runs good, looks like new. I plan to keep it
    at least 8 years more (or more if still running). Just oil changes;
sometimes I skip some regular maintenance schedule but never fail to do the
30K miles service. Mayor expense so far, timing belt and tires (I am on the
    third set).
You are good to go for a long time.

83 civic - put over 300K on it before getting rid of it.
87 civic - put over 275 K on it before son totalled it.
88 accord - had 295 K on it when daughter sold it.
96 Acura Integra - has 280K on it, son still drives it. Uses no oil.
Timing belts, water pumps, oil changes, tires, brakes, 3 radios, one blower
    fan for the heater only.

At least 200,000 miles and perhaps as many as 300,000 miles.

After twenty five years of attending, I could tell what airplanes would
be there, and where they would be parked. Three quarters of a million
people show up, so there is still the fascination with things flying.
If you haven't been, you should go at least once. bob
