I need help on replacing replacing odometer on my new gauge cluster.

This is my situation I recently purchased a 98 CIVIC EX gauge cluster
to replace my stock 00 DX cluster, The only problem I have is the
different odometer readings. the new EX gauge cluster that I want to
install in my car reads 100K miles on it, but my stock only reads 50K
miles. Now what I want to know is there a step by step process I can do
to change the new odometer to read exacly like my stock odometer, or do
I have to take it to a pro?

  2. take it to a pro--they made it really hard to do to keep people from
resetting them prior to selling their vehicles. It's against the law to
    reset them in most states.
