Who knows how to remove the air bag warning labels without damaging
    the sun visor?

Yeesh, NO. That would distort the vinyl.

The OP's best option would be to peel the stickers off **VERY** SLOWLY on a
cool day with no sun. Most of the glue will come off with the sticker.

What's left can be removed by putting ordinary masking tape or packing tape
(even Scotch tape) on the glue and removing it again. Press it down hard on
the original glue before removing. This is repeated over and over again
over fresh sections of tape until all the glue is removed.

If there is some glue that will not come off at all, the best bet is to
apply light oil, such as 3-in-1, sewing machine oil or gun oil, leave it
for a few minutes, then rub off. Rubbing alcohol will remove the oil
    itself.

It must be borne in mind that there is a liability issue (in these insane
times) in removing "safety" labels. So long as the remover is the only one
to drive the car after removal, he's probably OK, although he himself
*could* sue the automaker for not making removal-proof labels...

If anyone else drives the car and becomes injured, current litigative
insane stupidity dictates that the label remover will likely get sued by
    the injured party's savvy lawyer.

How badly we need tort reform...

You are right, we do. When reading the post, the first thing I also thought
of was the liability issue. It's sad.

  6. You might also want to try Goo Gone - I've never found adhesive that it
won't dissolve. Check it doesn't damage the visor first, though.
