    Greetings,

I need to remove the rear seat in a '95 Accord to check the fuel tank
    sending unit.

I've tried to push in and up on the front of the bottom of the bench
(seat bottom) like we used to do with older American cars but it won't
    budge.

How is the rear seat removed? My Haynes manual doesn't give any
instructions, although it lists it in the index. It only tells how to
    remove the front seats.

    Thanks.

  2. I believe there are two white plastic blocks just under the front edge lip
that have to be pushed in with something hard like a screwdriver tip or hard
object like a stick or something. I don't think a hand is strong enough to
push these in. Going from memory a few years ago these have to be pushed in
to release the seat. It doesn't do the old push in and up like other cars
    used to.

in the back seat between the back and bottom there is a 10mm bolt
just to the right of the left side bucle. remove this then pull the
back of the seat bottom up and it will let you pull the seat bottom
    out.

the rear seat cushion is bolted in. between the backrest and the seat
cushion (its where the seatbelt pokes its way between the backrest and the
seat cushion on the drivers side rear seat). the seat cushion will tilt
forward with some effort once that bolt is removed.
