How to replace lower brake/tail light bulb on 2014 CRV

    I'm hoping some one can help me with what should be a simple bulb replacement.
    The tail/light and brake light have failed on my Honda CRV 2014
    I removed the light assembly., where there are '2' bulb twist connectors for the indicator and reverse lights.
    That's simple, but for the brake and tail light all I can see is a 3 pin connector. I can remove the connector but
    can't see how to get to the bulb to replace it. It's very annoying and I feel pretty stupid but I cannot see how to do it.
    I have provided a photo to highlight the issue. Any help appreciated!
