89 honda crx si 1.6 Car will not start. Changed the starter, spark
plugs, battery, spark plug cables, alternator is a year old, replaced
ignition switch. Still nothing. No crank. Nothing. No noise from
the engine. Everything electrical works, lights, sunroof, etc. When
trying to start, the Check Engine light comes on and goes out. But
the Oil and Battery lights burns brightly. All I hear is a click and
    a hum.

Been having problems starting in the hot day, but okay at night. Then
I drove it one night and that was the last time. Since then it has
    been completely dead.

    Please help!!!

Hmmm. It might be the safety switch on the clutch pedal. My 90 civic had
this problem. Good luck, post what the problem is when you find it. Hope
    this could help you.

Can you turn the engine by hand? One time I worked on a V6. The bearing
seized, so no amount of force could turn that engine.

Would a bad main relay cause a no crank situation.

I gave up. Took it to a mechanic.
Mechanic says could be in the switch, oh well. we'll see.

The mechanic says I didn't get a crank because the "safety latch" on
the clutch had broken. Got a juryrigged until the part comes in.
Still need to get that relay looked at though.
