My car, a 1999 Civic Si, was stolen and partly stripped. I owe about
$6000 on it. Does anyone have an opinion as to what I should do, or how
the ins. co. will value this car? Do they use Galves? Should I not make
a claim and pay for it's repair ? Am I going to get hosed no matter
what? KBB values it retail at $10,000 which I can live with but Galves
lists it at $6000 or so. TIA, Jeff T. Manchester, NH.

I'm sure the insurance will cover the market value of the car before it
    was stolen.
If you have GAP insurance then it would cover the total loan amount.
I guess it depends on how stripped the car was whether to repair it or
    not.
