I have been reading the other threads regarding oscillating idle. The sitution
with my 93 Accord is at cold startups the idle will be around 1900 rpm, if I
kick the pedal quick to kick the idle down or accelerate this is where the
oscillation starts. The idle will be between 1500-2000 rpm's approx every
second. After warm up the idle is normal. Any ideas on this?

I suggest that you repost and let us know whether weather is having an
effect on the startup related questions. For example, if you live in an
area that suffers from really cold weather and don't have a garage--it's
not surprising that you will have a harder time starting your car on those
    really cold days.

I once owned a 93 Accord. On my 1993 Accord, on really cold days before I
would attempt to start the vehicle--I would press the quickly press the
gas pedal to the floor and quickly release it about three times. This
would cause the vehicle to start really great on cold days. I don't know
why it worked. I tried the same trick on my 1999 Accord EX and it had no
effect on the start up. If a mechanic wants to comment--please feel free
    to do so.

I'm having exactly the same problem on my '94 accord. I tested the fast
idle valve on the throttle body and it checks ok. Now I don't know what to
    look for next.
