    Greetings;

    The problem I have is with the ignition key getting stuck in the
    ignition after I turn off the car. Today I had the problem where I
    could not turn the key from OFF to Start. Moving the steering
    wheel back and forth doesn't help so it is not the steering lock
    mechanism.

    I've been reading a lot about the "bump" where the shift handle
    goes into park. Something about bad molding on the divits.
    So, how difficult is it to disassemble the shift mechanism and
    look at this situation. I guess I can shave off the bump.

    Also, I've heard about a transmission console shift switch
    part # 35700-SM4-A91 which is for earlier models of Honda.
    Does this switch get used on the '98 Accord. Is it worth
    replacing this switch ?

    Regards --
