To judge from all the "how do I reset my maintenance require indicator" questions, it's actually meant to replace the manufacturer's written instructions. It's amazing how many people come here first, before cracking the book or using common sense--and then believe everything they read here.

Well he's also the one who's being called "stupid" by people who don't even bother to understand the facts before casting their dispersions. I can understand his attitude perfectly. He's responding to inconsiderate persons who chose to denigrate him for asking an honest question instead of helping him. They taught most of us in kindergarten that if we don't have something nice to say to keep quiet. Remembering that admonition could go a long way toward shortening and improving the quality of Usenet threads. Ron
