Main Relay...I'm curious

I'm just curious for those of you with the 4th or 3rd gen civics that have
re-soldered their main relay as mentioned in previous posts. Is the problem
eliminated? I'm about to do this on my 91 Civic LX and my 92 Civic DX and
    thought I'd ask.

Any pointers from the job? Did you coat with waterproofing?...I've been
    reading this link:

I have not done this. People who have done it mention that in the 92-95
generation, the main relay is hard to remove. It is much easier to just
pull out the internals and leave the housing in the car. Again, I have
not done this, I am just passing along a tip I read in this NG a few
    months back.

92 Integra... re-melted all the joints to let solder flow and set.. 20
minute job. have not had a problem since. removing the relay on this car
    was fairly easy.
