  1. i noticed today that my maintenance light was yellow, instead of green.. what
are some initial things i can check out to see if there's something wrong..
perhaps some fluids or something simple..?? car seems to run okay.. and is this
something that i should get checked out asap?

    Chris,

If you plan to do any work on your own car, you need at least an
Owner's Manual (OM). I have a '95 Nissan I revently got (with no OM of
course) but was able to order -- for only $12 including shipping -- a
brand new OM from Nissan Publications. Honda may be similar.

    At least find an OM.

Failing that -- or preferably in addition to -- get a $15 Haynes
Repair Manual (or Chilton) for your car.

Ask here for help, but the manuals are your best and most reliable
    sources.

    Good luck,

    John D.
