Mildly interesting

    1990 Civic CRX. Low miles. Last weekend. Southern California freeway and
    desert driving 1231 miles. Freeway (I5 et al.,) average speed is easily 85
    miles per hour. I touched 90 a couple of times when daydreaming. Ambient temp
    a wee over 100 in desert, temp gauge never flickered from normal -- even up
    some pretty good inclines. Overall, 39.97 mpg -- let's call it 40, OK?

    Biggest problem? Boredom -- and no A/C.
