Battery is strong. Starter is no problem. I changed the distributor. It
cranks but it just won't start. For about a week before it stopped
starting, when I crank, I had to press the gas pedal slightly to fully
start the car. What could be the problem?

it takes three things to start, fuel, fire, and air. Are you getting
enough fuel (injectors could be clogged, or fuel pump), are you getting
fire to the coil (faulty ignition switch or short), how does your air
    filter look (replace air filter)?

Hondas' have a notorious starting problem, usually the ignition switch.
