Anyone else have a problem with ommisions of older streets and institutions
    on the 2003 NAV system?
Any guarantee the newer DVD load is worth the price?

I did not get the Nav unit because the maps were so out of data. Yes the
update will be worth the price. You will have a Nav system that will be
able to function many times better because you will have about 95% of the
streets in the US available on the map.

There definitely is a problem with institutions being out of date. But it
is not consistent. I found the most dramatic problem looking for gas
stations and restaurants along I-80 in Pennsylvania. Very little is listed
near the exits although there are listings for towns further from the
highway. Strangely, many hotels are listed near the interchanges, just no
    gas stations and restaurants.

I don't see a new DVD for sale at the Honda website. They are offering the
2001 DVD, which is older than the one included with my 2003 Accord! The DVD
contains both the data and the navigation program. Both can be updated. It
is unclear how dramatic the changes would be.
