The original tires on my 2003 Civic hybrid suck big time here in
Michigan when it snows. The front end is too light due to the
batteris under the rear seat. I need to get new tires. Should I go
for a performance, touring, or passenger type tire? Snow tires or
    all-season? Any recomendations apprectiated. Jay

I had same problem with my Civic Hybrid. It came with Dunlop SP-20 tires,
and they were squirrely. After some research, I got around to Bridgestone
"Weatherforce" tires, an all season tire. I am very happy with these.
Bridgestone also has two other all season tires which are highly rated.
