I have a pair of 5 1/4 Infinity Refrence speakers I want to install in
the rear deck of my 95 Civic DX. The car did not come with rear
speakers, just the wires and holes in the metal inside the trunk. When
I check through the trunk I can feel there is a circle shaped etching
in the fiberboarding where the metal holes and speaker wires are. The
Fiberboard is covered with fabric, should I just use a razor and cut a
hole in this area for the speakers to fit?

What is the best way to go about installing these speakers? Do I need
to remove both the boarding and the fabric or do I leave the fabric
there to cover the speaker? Do I just need to buy a grill from Pep boys
    instead?

  2. I installed speakers in the rear deck of a 92 civic, the best thing
to do is to go to a salvage yard and pick up a couple of the speaker
pods that you see in the back of other Civics, they can be unbolted
from in the trunk from the donor car. Then when you get ready to
install the speakers in the back of yours, just cut the material where
the speakers go, put the speaker in and then put the pod over the top
    of it.
