New '04 Odyssey now in my stable...

Discussion in 'Odyssey' started by Flyin_Freddie, Nov 25, 2003.

  1. Hey, guys...lurked around here for several days reading Honda-oriented
stuff before purchasing an '04 Odyssey last weekend. Seems to be a
really nice vehicle - leather, power everything, leather, rear DVD
player, etc. etc. etc. I did quite a bit of research before I even
went to the dealer, so I was familiar enough with the competing
vehicles and decided on the Honda before I ever even drove one. I
ended up giving $29254 for a EX-L-RES model, which was lower than
Edmunds ( http://www.edmunds.com ) True Market Value price. I think
it was a pretty respectable deal... So, now that I own one...was this
a good price...? Anything special I need to know about the
    vehicle...?

Different locations have different prices. If you are happy with the price
it is a good one. Now check out www.ODYCLUB.com

    Yeah, right.
Tickle-me-elmo calling me a troll? ROTFL!
The same nasty doll who proudly proclaimed that he'll give false advice on
purpose to strand owners? The irony....

  6. To strand IDIOT, selfish, lazy owners who can't open their owner's
manuals--who would rather come here and have it spoon-fed to them FOR
    FREE.

    TANSTAAFL.

  7. Not according to the other Honda dealer in town said they
couldn't beat the price, but was willing to match it. Problem
    was...they didn't want my trade....a '97 Plymouth Grand
Voyager that used oil, had a squeeking serpentine belt (which
was just replaced less than a year ago), had the AIRBAG light
on, and niether the horn or cruise control worked. (The
AIRBAG light, cruise control, and horn problem were all related
to a safety recall for the 'clockwork spring' according to
Chrysler!) Bottom line...I would have gladly taken what
anyone would have offered to me for that Chrysler POS!

Now...back to my ORIGINAL question...is there anything I need
    to know about this vehicle?

PS.. I don't care if anyone has an axe to grind against anyone
else over here...this is one of the reasons I left Deja News
several years ago...too many bullsh!t posts! So, please, take
your pettiness to another thread, will ya...? Thanks...
