what do people in here think of it ?

Whilst I think it is pretty radical (maybe too much ?) I am disappointed at
    a few items :

    1) no air con as standard across the range
    2) No CD as standard across the range
    3) No parking sensors ?
    4) any colour other than red is extra !

Having been famed for their standard packages in the past, they may come
    unstuck here.

We (as loyal Honda owners) will have to try and barter the dealers down ?

Is not having air con still around $800 in savings on a new
    car?

If so, I'll skip it. It's not hot enough long enough to
    warrant it.
    Whoa. Foul!

I like the fact that no AC is an option. Especially if you're after maximum
performance. Also, I can do without the additional maintenance hit once the
    car starts to get old.

Then there's cars like the Toyota Celica, which comes standard with AC.
Which is totally stupid considering that car has lousy initial torque but
'jet-fighter' handling. So, why bog it down with AC, which is not true to
    the car's nature.

Then there's the Hybrid, with electrically powered AC units. That kind of
technology can be useful in a small engine car with sporty intention. But in
that case, simply axing the AC unit would be the simplest solution.

That being said, there's at least 10 days in the year, here in Toronto,
that I wish I had AC. All the other times, I'm laughing to the bank or
enjoying the fact that a supposedly faster car is sucking my exhaust.

No such thing as a free lunch - so at least this way you have the choice
    as to pay or not.

    2) No CD as standard across the range
In UK it has been common practice to charge extra for metalic paint, red
is the only non-metalic paint. Not sure if the exra cst is justified.

'Cheap' car will be no a/c in red :))
