new tires for Civic; Micheline Hydroedge?

  1. Really? Hmm... Anyway, I can say, that these tires a much-much better than
    crappy Firestone FR690.

    Your definitely cheating yourself by restricting to only 1 set of wheels. A
    quality set of snow tires will easily last you over 5 years. My Nokia Hakka
    1 will be going on it's 5th winter (and they look like they can go another 5
    winters). For the summer, the Toyo Proxes have been through 4 summers and
    have over 100,000km on them. I've been ridding on them since the summer of
    1999 when I got rid the crappie firestone. To my shame, I gave barely used
    firestone to my sister for her 93 Civic, which was a big mistake since she
    ended up wrecking her car into a tree after an SUV cut her off. Her car
    fish-tailed when she tried to avoid getting hit and then she lost control.
    If she had a better set of tire, the car probably would have kept it's
    footing. If you're concerned about safety, get dedicated summer and winter.
