I have a 2000 Odyssey and I know there is a potential problem with the auto
tranny. I'm wondering what the symptoms of a "going bad" tranny are.

Well, I did that but maybe not enough. So far I've found no answers there.
If you would be so kind as to point me in the rght direction.

From what I understand, check the trasnsmission oil regularly, it shouldn't
be burnt - check colour and smell. (Original colour is pink)

There are gadgets out ther which will read the OSB II codes and tell you the
transmission temperature among other things. If you know what's normal then
you can compare. These cost around US$100 and up. Look up OBD II scanner on
    your internet search engine.

There are probably other ways but that's all I have for now.

Thanks for your info. Much better than Shaggy's "Lurk, read, and research.
You will find all your answers there."

Evidently Shaggy didn't check out the odyclub's site. I did and found
nothing pertaining to my question. I even checked the Edmunds site for
    Hondas.
