Can I do the regular oil change my self or should I take the car to tuffys
or some such company who would charge me anything from $20 to $30. Care to
    comment?

  2. You can do it yourself. Make sure you have the right tools or you'll
wish you went to a shop.

    Filter wrench
    Wrench that fits drain plug
    Drain plug washer
    Large oil/drip pan
    Filter (not Fram)
    Oil
    Towel

You may also need to jack up the car slightly so the oil pan fits under
it. Sometimes it's easier to reach the drain plug with a wheel off.
Check that you can reach everything and all tools fit before you start
    the work.

Whatever your prefer. I like to change it myself. Some like the quickly
lube place but others strictly like the dealership.

So what's wrong with Fram filters?
