  1. Hello all,
I have a 1997 honda civic lx (d16y7) and I cannot find the pcv
valve for anything. I looked in a Haynes and chiltons, and I cannot
locate it on the engine anywhere. please help.

I have 98, and it is in the same location. The easiest way to see it/replace
it, you need to remove the oil filter. From under the car, look way up above
were the oil filter goes, there you'll see it. It is half black and half
blue (if you still have an OEM valve). If you're under the car you need to
reach way up there with your hand and get in this tiny space.

look up the 'Breather Chamber' on the hondaautomotiveparts.com
website, and it shows you how it looks under there.
