    Hi
I just bought a 2004 Honda Pilot, Demo ... oil changed 2500 miles ago
but the service light just came on .. I'm about 1000 miles before the
nxt change and the light is annoying. How do I turn it off?
    Thanks,

  2. I don't know, but why bother? You've just spent a lot of money for a
product that's under warranty. Go to your dealership and have them
worry about it. heck, there might even be something wrong...

What does your manual say? Mine tells me how to do it for my Odyssey.
    RTFM!

You can hold in the little button in the switch under the dash. Haven't
done it yet on my Pilot, so I'm not sure exactly where, but on my Acura
Integra it's on the left hand side.

My Pilot has 7500 mile oil change intervals- don't understand why you would
    need a change at 3500.

There's a way to reset the maintenance light. It's in the manual.

Hold down the Odometer reset button as you turn the key to the run
position (don't need to start it). Wait a few second and the light will
    be out.
