And we don't believe a single word you say.

Mike, you are a *proven* liar, thus, your credibility is nil here.

Stop insulting the group with your pathetic false-life

Your nothing that a Ford mark, trying to justify your Honda bashing by
    providing a fake background.

    Now get out.

  3. Better start post with X-Noarchive if you don't want to be caught with your
pants down... AGAIN!! Anybody can search at Google with "nike hunt design
engineer" and find "I am an LPE with a degree in metallurgy and worked as a
design engineer for GM, VW and Ford over a thirty year period.."... amongst
    many other similar such instances.

Only in your small world. Like I said you are free to believe
what you wish, I could not care less, but you are not free to
make things up that I never said. When have I ever bashed Honda
or any other brand? My posts have always said Honda and every
other brand today is making good stuff, but they like every other
manufacture, makes some on occasion that are not up to their
build standards and that is factual. No manufacture makes
trouble free vehicle that is why they all have a warranty.

I only owned Honda, Toyota and Nissan cars in the past and I will continue
to do so in future not because GM or Xrysler or Foad are less reliable but
mostly due to comfort, features, resale value and handling. Many of my
colleagues and friends own domestic cars and I have never heard them
complaining about any car reliable issues. I also drove quite many GMs and
Xryslers and a few Foads. My most recent experience (2 months ago) was a
    2003 3.8l Chev inpala which I droved for a week. I also droved a 2003 3.3l
G caravan for about a week early this year, it was quite nice and
comfortable except when you accelerated it, it dropped its gears down and
the noise inside was quite annoying. The fuel consumptions for both inpala
and caravan were good compared with toyo V6 but the brake really sucks and
maybe I am too used to of H & T, I feel much more comfortable in a H Accord
or Odey or in a T Camry or Sienna.

My decisions always come back to H, T, & N.

This is sort of funny. Coming from a clown who wear "Ford blinders".
    Thanks for your permission.
Sure you could...or you wouldn't be responding.
I've never done ANY such thing.
And that statement is not true.
Ah, but you so conveniently left out the fact that Honda, has this happen on
    LESS occasion.

Trying to mix words to fit your agenda wont work here.
But facts show Hondas to be LESS trouble free than their American counter
    part.

Boy I bet you hate to read that... [huuuge grin]

    Now get out.

Well said, but another problem people have when they drive the same make for
their whole life, is they have nothing to compare to.

Folks who have driven a Ford their whole life, only see the improvements of
that make. While they do in fact see improvement, they assume that they are
on the same level as other makes...which may not be true.

People who are used to taking their Ford to the repair 6 times a year in the
1950s, now only take it in 3 times a year. What they don't know, is Honda's
and Toys can go years and years with never seeing the inside of a repair
    shop.

I am not a fan of foad and I will never own a foad in my life but my
colleagues apparently are happy with their foads (taurus owned for 3 years,
escape for 2 years and focus for 3 years now). I have not yet heard them
needing to go to shops for 3 times a year to repair. In fact, none of them
had any trouble so far and you would be probably surprised to learn the guy
has the escape had a forester before, he seemed to be happier.

2 years ago, my company rented me a foad concorde (less than 9000miles) at
PA airport for about a week. The brake and acceleration were really bad
(compared with CiVic or Corolla) and plus other discomforts and
inconveniences, I swore would never drive a foad again. With such a short
renting duration, reliability seemed to be not an issue. The point I am
trying to say, apart from dislike of foad brakes, discomfort and handling,
doubting the reliability of foads in the long run, some foad reliability
might not be as bad as you had perceived (3 times a year!).
