Prelude cd player

    I recently aquired a 1996 Honda prelude. I had to replace to the
    factory stereo with a used factory stereo but even before I did that I
    could not get the cd player to work. It's a 6 disc mounted in the
    trunk. When I try to tune into the cd player it just reads, "CDE-01".
    Does anyone have a clue?
