Prestone LowTox + cooling system flush

    When they fail at 100,000+ miles, I don't consider that a problem. Thats
    pretty typical for every water pump I've had, and they've all been run
    on Prestone's classic "silicone silicate" formula.

  2. I've seen nothing to suggest that the non-silicate/borate coolants have
    inferior corrosion protection - quite the opposite in fact... whereas there
    does seem to be a problem with the silicate formula when used in aluminum
    blocks and water pumps.
