Question about After-Market side/marker lights for 91 accord

    Hello,

I need to replace the Passenger side corner light (behind the headlight) on
    a '91 Accord.
I got a used one off of e-bay, but the glass clarity was not what I was
    expecting, and the retainer
tabs on the backend of the light were broken off. So, now I'm looking at
    new after-market
lights, and I was wondering if there are different after-market
    manufacturers, or do they all
come from the same plant? If different manufacturers, are there one(s) I
    should look for,
    or one(s) I should avoid?

Thanks for any input from those that know...

It's acrylic, not glass. The one you got has been on a car for a long
long time and for many many miles.

You've been had, sad to say. Somebody sold you a junk part. The perils
    of eBay...

There are a number of them, all based in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, or Red
China. They are all pure excrement.

You should avoid ANY aftermarket manufacturer. Aftermarket lamps are
frighteningly horrible in quality, as are most aftermarket body parts.

If I were you, I'd visit a local wrecking yard, which will have many
top-notch used OEM parts. Alternatively, you can try this Web resource:
    www.car-part.com

By the way, you did know a brand-new OEM part is less than $80? It even
    comes with the bulbs.

    Good luck,
