Question about Engine Light 98 Civic EX

    Was driving when Engine Light began Blinking...Engine then started to run rough. Then engine cleared up a bit and runs Normal. Engine light is still ON(not blinking)

    Wondering what it could be?

    something is wrong with the engine.

    there'll be codes stored within the engine control computer more specific
    to the problem.

    if it's blinking you have a catalyst damaging misfire. keep driving
    like that and you'll get to buy a cat.
    a misfire can be ignition, fuel or compression related. honda senses
    misfires with a crankshaft fluctuation sensor.
