Question about Honda Power Steering Fluid

I have an 87 Honda Accord. A mechanic changed the power steering pump for me
before, and I think he also told me that he used some aftermarket rebuilt
power steering pump and that it'd be ok to use a non-Honda power steering
fluid since it's not a Honda power steering pump

What do you guys make of this? Would it be okay to put Honda power steering
fluid into the reservoir even though he told me this? Would it hurt anything?
If not, then what kind of PS fluid should use? The only thing I see printed on
the power steering pump is "remanufactured AT A3".

    Thanks.

Use Honda "compatible" fluid or expect the seals in the steering rack to
    start leaking.
    Change mechanic.

Try not use anything not labeled `Genuine Honda Fluid. ` This fluid
cost less, at most times, and is very gentle to your seal in your rack
and pinion. Hondas that I own does not leak but it seems almost
everyone else leaks. They ask me how do I do it. I hint to them,
    `don’t buy compatible ones. `
