The turn signals on my 2006 Accord V-6 seem to be extremely quiet.
Consequently, I often find myself driving with a turn signal blinking (when
I didn't make a sharp enought turn for it to automatically turn off). This
is especially common in daylight as the arrow is not that bright although if
I am looking directly at it there is no problem. Does anyone know of any
way to change something in the system to make the signals a little louder.
Sometimes in older cars you could just buy a new flasher plug in unit which
was louder than that which comes with the car. I don't believe there are
side mirrors available for this car with the flashing turn arrows such as on
several GM models. If there were, that would be another aid to solving the
    problem.

  2. This is really a problem for senior ears-- especially guys who have been
firearms buffs over the years, or were in the artillery. I'd be interested
in upping the level of mine too!

Buy a couple of piezo-electric alarm buzzers. Wire them in parallel with the
    turn signal idiot lights.
