I need to change the orifice tube, shaft seal and the
accumulator in order to downgrade to R134. I've difficulty
finding a new orifice tube and a Denso compressor shaft
seal for my 88 Honda Accord-lxi. I'd tried hondaauto-
motiveparts.com but got lost. Any other suggestion?
Where is the orifice located in the A/C system, BTW?

    Thanks

  2. Hi,
have you heard of Isceon 49?

You can change from R 12 to R 413 WITHOUT any other change...

At the evaporator in the air handler inside the cabin.

  4. I don't think Honda has ever use a fixed orifice tube/accumulator system if
that's what you mean. They still to this day use an expansion
valve/receiver-drier which, if it's in good condition may work OK, but not
optimally, with R-134a. Both are located at the joint to the evaporator
    under the passenger side dash.
