Going to be replacing my radiator in my 92 accord this weekend. Any hints
and tips from the group on this job? I have a Honda service manual but when
I did my valve cover gasket, it never said anything about the lower
sparkplug tube seals, thanks to the group, I learned where they were and
referred to the manual on removing the rocker arm assembly to get to them.
    This group is great!!

Biggest hint is to remove the lower hose at the ENGINE, not at the
radiator. Unclip all the power connections for the fans, and leave the
fans on the radiator and pull it out as a unit. Transfer the parts to
the new one on a nice clean bench. Lay a towel or old blanket on the
bench before you start. Be careful with the bolts that hold the fan
housings to the radiator. If these bolts are over tightened, some
    radiators can crack.
I got my replacement radiator at Parts America, and needed the free
lifetime replacement about four years later. Save your receipt.
    Good luck! bob

My only advice is to have a large container that is able to easily fit
under your car available for use. Don't allow the water to go down the
drain or you may get in trouble with neighbors that report you to the
police. Believe it or not, I no longer do hardly any work on my car due to
the stupid rules. I once done all of the service work on my cars--now I
have to let mechanics do the work.
